Casey Patrick is a writer, editor, and teaching artist, who's currently at work on her first manuscript. Her poems have been published in The Massachusetts Review, RHINO, Green Mountains Review, The Pinch, Pleiades, Passages North, The Adroit Journal, and others. She was the runner-up for the 2018 Pinch Literary Awards in Poetry and a finalist for the 2018 Brittany Noakes Poetry Award. She earned an MFA from Eastern Washington University and has been awarded a James Merrill Fellowship from the Vermont Studio Center, a Writers House Residency from Hub City Writers Project, and an Emerging Artist Residency from Tofte Lake Center. For the last five years, Casey has taught creative writing classes in a variety of settings, and she regularly teaches in-person and online classes with The Loft Literary Center. In addition to teaching and writing, Casey is a freelance copy editor and proofreader and an indie bookseller. She lives in Minneapolis and tweets @everythingfitz.
